All Positions Summary:
As a key member of the Engineering and Support group, this individual will be responsible for managing all aspects of provisioning from start to finish. This position interfaces and partners with both the sales department and customers to ensure quality pre and post sales technical support for all VoIP services. This includes the configuration of the Servers, SBC, and gateway equipment as well as tier1 through tier 3 level troubleshooting. Individual must have significant experience working with VoIP technology or programming background.

General Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Interface with sales/customers to manage all aspects of VoIP provisioning start to finish
  • Configure and maintain post provisioning
  • Coordinate with Client Engineers for SIP trunking accounts
  • Tier 1, Tier2, and Tier3 support / troubleshooting
  • Manage the resolution of all VoIP tickets and pending cases with customers
  • Interface directly with all vendors and carriers for support
  • New product testing and development (hardware/software)
  • Direct VIP customer support and relations
  • Maintenance and development of VoIP management servers
  • Maintenance and support of all circuits
  • Direct contact with internal Help Desk to best serve customers

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience working with voice over IP technology
  • Proven customer service and troubleshooting skills
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, or related field
  • Knowledge of Telecom industry and related terminology
  • Working knowledge of commonly used technologies such as Transcoders, H.323, SIP, and DNS
  • Solid technical writing/documentation skills a plus
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize in a fast-paced environment
